To create a "real" Lotus Martini green, I ordered custom paint at Hiroboy. Also some other Lotus specific paint :-)

    Modifications so far:
  • Bodywork over front suspension
  • Shortened sidepod air exits
  • rear brake cooling ducts opened and reworked
  • Thinned and shortened rear of body, to make rear wing end plates look like the real thing
  • Exhaust ends replaced with brass rod
  • Bodywork over front suspension
  • Major rework of cockpit and seat

As you see, the Zero Paints from Hiroboy are very easy to apply. Even I can produce a nice finish with them. I just had some little problems with the 2K clear because my airbrush needed more thinner.

The S27 decals went on really good, but they are out of size in some areas (as usual, you say?). I used my MD-5000 to make new decals for the rear wing scripts, because they were really too small. Two layers of ALPS decals are needed here...
